“Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” Gen 3:19
Four themes converge on Ash Wednesday as we enter the Lenten fast: mourning, mortality, repentance, and forgiveness. It is good for us to “number our days so that we may develop wisdom in our hearts.”
And yet, Ash Wednesday is not a destination. It is a beginning. The smoke and ash we smell today also have the aroma of Easter incense! We do not grieve as those without hope! Abundant life awaits God’s faithful.
Join Brandon Booth on ash Wednesday, March 5th, for a gentle guided meditation on the themes of mourning, mortality, repentance, and forgiveness. Come and prepare your heart to receive the joy of resurrected life with Jesus our Lord.

Our Facilitator
Brandon Booth is a spiritual director and the co-founder of Signpost Inn Ministries whose mission is to lift people's gaze from the chaos of life and fix their attention on Jesus. He holds a Master's Degree in Historical Theology and loves the rich wisdom and tradition of the church. He and his wife live in the beautiful Colorado Rockies and have five children, two of whom they have successfully "launched." As a spiritual director he loves to walk compassionately alongside fellow travelers and help them discern God's forgiveness, invitations, and challenges, and to support them as they take the leaps of faith God often asks of us all.
